Revelogic is a solo project from Marc Beck (Crankcase, Vick Logic, Ken, Heroics.) The Live from WKDU is from Marina’s show from April 12, 1996.
Then his full cd New Pacific Map which was easily one of my favorite cds from 97. Below that is the 7″ with Marc and Judith Schaechter who also creates amazing stained glass art (and they were in Ken together) – 2 of Marc’s No One Red Cent Cassette tapes – then his My Century cd compilation of other solo works.
Vick Logic were Marc Beck (Crankcase, Revelogic, Ken, etc) on Vocals, Guitar, extras / Jeff Warner (Strapping Field Hands, Crankcase, Amazing Thrill Show) on Bass & Percussion / Mikey Ritz on Guitar. They were on the WKDU’s Scrapple 7″ box set and released tapes and one 7 inch. First is a cd compilation Marc gave me of all there recordings. Then when they were live on Marina’s show on WKDU from December 1994. The first song got cut off and the 2nd starts into the song. There was also an interview with Marina after they played. Enjoy the low-fi songs of yearning.
crankcase. machine 1 was 1992 – 1995.

Crankcase hits that spot between SY and fLIPS while sitting alongside Silkworm and Rodan.
the band initially started after a few jam sessions with the trio of Rob Coye, Marc Beck and a pre-Strapping Field Hands Jeff Werner. we had all been friends in our previous bands: Rob’s Grisly Fiction and Marc and Jeff’s Confusion Visits. incidentally, Marc and Jeff’s Vick Logic started at the same exact time
it was apparent that Rob and Marc could display some decent early 90s guitar histrionics, and we decided to become real by adding Grisly Fiction’s first drummer Chuck Hanning along with party companion Rick Wright
we played pretty actively in Philadelphia. notable billings were with US Maple and Babe the Blue Ox and one rousing show at Pi Lam’s Human BBQ with A Place to Bury Strangers
Rick remains active with Phila psych giants Flower Girl (please see their Bandcamp)
Rob Coye did a Grisly Fiction reunion project with gigs and continues playing noise with his Phantom Pilots project as well as instrumental duo Lame Cover Band (2008-forever) and a stints with Steven Cerio’s Small Girl Boils Water (early 2000’s) .
Marc remains retired from musical creativity after projects revelogic and (the) heroics
Chuck enjoys home brewing and jazz combo
please listen to this LOUD. play it LOUD . LOUD. LOUD!!!!
(Thanks for the files and the info -Marc)

To the best of my knowledge all of the music links are for recordings that are out of print but if you enjoy what you hear, buy other records and support the artist(s) and/or labels: if you don't approve of having your material displayed and would like to have it down...
