Angus Khan consists of five members, Jon Graf-bass, Bill Garvey-vocals, Jeremy Sustare-drums, Bill Leifbeit-guitar, and Kyle Ferrier-guitar. From the mid-eighties to the present, the members of Angus Khan have been involved in many different projects, separately and, in one way or another, together. After all these years, they have finally come together to create a “modern” rock creature, so diverse and unheard of, in these days of bland rock radio.
For over 15 years, the members of Angus Khan have been deep in the Philadelphia music scene. Some of the bands they have been involved with are: Philly’s notorious She-Males, the hard and heavy Mama Volume, American Beauty from Colorado, The Wurst from Providence Rhode Island, The Sissys, The Rum Crooks, the furious Rupert Speed, Loadstar, Grisly Fiction, Underraga, The Scrags, and from Connecticut, Up From Eden.
Together, Angus Khan is a wealth of musical knowledge and talent. To say ”They’ve been around the block” is an understatement. They know music and live the life it generates. As you listen to Angus Khan their influences become evident. Their songs crossover many spectrums of sound, from “The Stooges” to “Motorhead”, from “Dead Boys” to “Nick Cave”, from “Bad Brains” to “Soundgarden”, yet they hold their own in originality. The sound of Angus Khan is for the highway, while traveling at high speeds. (Thanks for all the music, flyers, info Jeremy)
